Wondering if color is really important? I took the following quote from an email to me from Kristy Hawke. It's about the Nevada Women's Expo and the article is entitled "Tips to Trade Show Success."
"7. Booth Design. You have three seconds to make an impression on those walking past your display. Your visuals and graphics must be large and bright, while simply and clearly communicating -- in as few words as possible -- the benefits of your product. ........
Color: Human nature perceives colors and attaches psychological emotions to them. The color and tones you choose for your display can help you stand out, as well as convey your message. I recommend that you do a little research and take a look at the basic colors used for marketing purposes and the meanings of each. For example, green relates to nature, brown relates to the earth, purple relates to spirituality, white to purity and black to elegance and power. It's important to choose the right color scheme based on your target market..........."
We all have heard about color in branding products. Think about color in your personal branding. You, too, only have a few seconds to make your first impression.
