You'd love to have long, lovely eyelashes.  You've heard of Revitalash and other lash conditioners that help grow lashes.  But you don't want to spend the $150 plus.  Well, I have a tip for you.

I was in Las Vegas last week, cruising the Forum Shops at Ceasar's Palace, and couldn't stop myself when I got to the Dior Boutique.  I walked in and was talked into getting a makeover.  I normally don't like department store makeovers, because I'm pretty fair, like a classic look, and I think the makeup artists always seem to go a little overboard.  But, hey, I'm in Las Vegas and going to see Cher that night.  So, a little glitz might be all right.

I thought the look I got was still a little too strong for me.  But I did like it enough to keep it on for the evening.  The big thing was my eyelashes.  I loved them.  Long and luscious.

Here's how he did them.  First layer--Dior Iconic Mascara.  The bristles on the applicator are more like a comb than a brush.  And it's great for curling and lengthening the lashes.  You look down, use the applicator to sweep under the lashes, and hold the applicator at the tip of the lashes for a second.  That last step gives you the curl.  Don't sweep side to side, but sweep upwards.  Next layer--he used DiorShow mascara.  That thickened my lashes.  I had the longest, fullest lashes I have ever had. 

I bought the Iconic mascara.  I already had the Show mascara.  But I'll give you another tip.  For the second layer, I much prefer Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara.  It gives me a much thicker lash.

So that's my tip for great lashes without the outrageously high price.
