I'm teaching a few classes at Yarndogs in Los Gatos. You don't have to be a knitter to take the first one. The other two are appropriate for beginners. Don't know how to knit but want to learn? Check out the beginning knitting classes at Yarndogs. Here are descriptions of my classes. Find out more by clicking here. Sign up for classes by emailing yarndogs@yarndogs.com.
Your Personal Best Colors --- Color consultant Pat Gray will help you explore which colors look good on you. She'll teach you about color seasons and sub-seasons, and show you celebrity examples of how colors look on people of various complexions and hair color. Thursday, August 27, 6-8 p.m.
Choosing Compatible Colors--- Pat also will teach a class in combining multiple colors in your knitting or crocheting. She'll explain the color wheel, as well as the Fibonacci striping sequence. If you've ever wondered whether the colors you're choosing actually work together, this is the class for you. Saturday, August 22, 2-4 p.m.
Combine Colors and Use Up Your Stash in a Shawl or Scarf --- Bring your stash yarn in various colors and weights, and Pat will show you how to knit them into a one-of-a-kind shawl or scarf. It's fun playing with colors, especially when you take a risk and find out it works! Sunday, August 30. 12-2 p.m.
