A few tips to increase your power in business.
1. Do a one minute check up in front of a mirror.
2. Enter a room without hesitation.
3. Stand up.
4. Stand firmly on two feet.
5. Maintain eye contact.
6. Shake hands.
7. Keep an open posture.
8. Respect personal space.
9. Mirror other's actions.
10. Learn to read non verbal gestures.

All of these points are tremendously important, especially for women in business, in ALL meetings, not just first-impression situations. Thank you for posting these suggestions!!

Thank you for your comment. It's especially true for women to learn to shake hands. Men do it automatically. We don't. Think of the power a woman receives by extending her hand first. Taking control of the relationship.
