Women share.  That's one of our great assets.  So when I find a great resource, I like to share it with you.  Let me introduce you to my hair stylist.

Matt Gary has been doing my hair for years.  I can go to him and say, "Matt, do something."  And he'll do something great.  Or he'll say, "Are you ready for a change?"  Last time he said that, I knew what he meant.  I grew out my bangs and was letting the rest of my hair grow a little longer.  Not too long, just about chin length.  Well, I was coming to the conclusion that this wasn't working for me.  I can only think that Matt knew that and wanted to steer me into another direction.  What a magnificent change.  Perfect.  If only he had said outright earlier that what I was trying to do wasn't going to work well for both my type of hair and my face.

A few weeks ago, I attended a hair and hat workshop by well-known image consultant Carla Mathis.  After going over the principles in choosing the correct hair style, we got to analyze each other.  My hairstyle was the only one that didn't get any suggestions for change.  Matt had it right.
