I knew that Estee Lauder owned Clinique and Prescriptives.  But I didn't know that the company also owns Aramis, Origins, and Lab Series.  Also, it owns M.A.C., Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Jo Malone, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Darphin and Ojon. 

The company also has exclusive licensing agreements with Kiton, Donna Karen, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Sean Johm, Missoni, and Tom Ford.

Estee Lauder has developed several brands--Flirt!, American Beauty, GoodSkin Labs, Grass Roots Research Labs, and Daisy Fuentes--available in the US exclusively at Kohl's.

And the company has an exclusive partnership with Coach for fragrance and cosmetics.

So, you never know where the money from your cosmetic and fragrance purchases are going.  But, obviously, a lot is going to Estee Lauder.
