Spring is finally here! Time to clean out the closet, put away the cold weather clothes, and bring out the summer clothing.  It can be a drudge.  This time I want you to have some fun and play with your clothes.  As you're putting your warm weather clothes in your closet, try some new combinations.  Put jackets with different tops, try different accessories.  Here's my story.  I have a cranberry jacket that I always, always wore with navy.

OK, so I may not be the greatest videographer.  But I've only had my flip camera for a few weeks. 

I knew that Estee Lauder owned Clinique and Prescriptives.  But I didn't know that the company also owns Aramis, Origins, and Lab Series.  Also, it owns M.A.C., Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Jo Malone, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Darphin and Ojon. 

I just got back from 5 days in London.  Here's what the London Sunday Times Style writer Gemma Soames is showing as the Spring trends in accessories.

Santana Row, San Jose, CA--a fabulous destination spot for shopping, dining, and just hanging out and people watching.  One of my favorite places to stop is Smith Alder on Olin Avenue, across from Starbucks and Maggiano's.

What's so great about this shop?  Well, you have to check their website to see everything, but here's what I like.

Of course, you do.  Then this event is for you.  Call in sick, hire a sitter, do whatever you need.  But this is a must attend FREE event.  

Has your hair color changed since you had your colors done?  Are you now graying?  Are you coloring or highlighting your hair differently?  Has it been more than 5 years since you had your colors done?  If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then it's time to have your colors touched up.

Do you wear always wear the same jacket with the same pants or the same necklace with the same top over and over again?  You are in a clothing rut.  It's easy to fall into it.  You don't have to think much, just pull out what you know works together, and put it on.

I went yesteday to see the Spring 2010 Jana Kos collection.  Fabulous!  Beautiful clothes.  Wonderful colors. Attention to detail.   And generously sized.  I couldn't believe that I was able to get both arms into a size Medium trench coat.
