You want the lastest fashion trends, but the current economy gives you second thoughts on shopping.  Learn how to shop in your closet and come up with new outfits incorporating a few new Fall trends.  The San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Association of Image Consultants International will be hosting a fashion show in which personal stylists will go through their clients' closets and come up with two new looks for Fall.

You'd love to have a delicate, lacy cashmere (or silk or wool) scarf or shawl.  But what you can find in retail is either too expensive or not your color.  Why not learn to knit your own lace?  I'll be teaching a beginning lace class in August.  We'll be using the Biased Toward Lace Scarf pattern.  Here's the start of mine using a variegated (mint, periwinkle, off-white) Belisa cashmere.

Getting rid of all those unnecessary clothing to make way for the new ones.

Several years ago, I had the delight of attending a trunk show of Juliana Collezione fashions at the home of Adena DiTonno.  I invested in a few gorgeous items.  Here are photos of my two favorites.  Notice the fabulous buttons, luscious fabrics, and the many details that make these fantastic garments.

I've matched eyeshadows to her Related White, Casual Neutral, and Personal (eye-related) Neutral.  Her blush was matched to her Hemoglobin Skin Tone and her lipstick to her Related Reds.  This is a beautiful makeup palette to match the beautiful variation of Crystal Spring color palette.
